New technologies pose challenges for individuals and businesses that want to protect their intellectual property, which often can constitute a majority of the business’s value. Copyrights are an important tool to achieve such protection. Businesses also need to know how they can avoid unintended secondary infringement, especially via their websites.

In addition to helping clients secure and maintain protection for their intellectual property, Cheryl serves as an adjunct faculty member at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she teaches a course on copyright law.
